Duo is great! I have spent over 800 days studying it.
But it teaches language in a roundabout way, with seemingly random sentences and phrases. If you pay for AI conversations your conversational abilities improve. But if you travel in Mexico or South America you may find yourself lacking the means to communicate in a restaurant, in a taxicab or worse, in a hospital.
